Sounds cool and dangerous at the same time. Can easily get carried away by grabbing a ton of stuff and not realize the cost of all you bought.

Still leaves the tedium of walking up and down isles looking for stuff. I want to just select my items online and have them waiting for me in a bag. Yeah, I’m that lazy.

Freaking high technology will make distant us the people from one another. It was the cars and its road/city architecture. Now its the social websites such Facebook and others, and this shitty shop. The world clearly is going to its ass.

Even though jobs are gonna go , this is just how it is. Retail industry is going to be dominated by monopolies. I think governments have to seriously start considering giving a free universal income . People should always have a house to live in and food to eat and not worry about healthcare. Once those things are accomplished, people won’t have to shit their pants when they see their jobs going.

A good legal question would be if someone steals: is it theft or a technology failure? As the owner of the store expects a shopper to walk out. In some states it is considered theft if you walk past the point of sale. In this case there is no point of sale. A good example of technology outpacing the legal structure of this country.

It's a step ahead of many stores self checkout. But the end game is the same. Not only do the checkers lose their jobs but they won't need to hire anyone to stock the shelves because eventually we'll be doing that too!

Amazon was created as an easier way to shop as opposed to traditional brick and mortar stores. They've grown so big & technologically advanced that they are now opening up brick and mortar stores.
