I've had a Note 2 since 2012 and it literally still works like brand new…..The ONLY issue I've ever had was about 2 months ago when it started shutting off by itself, but cleaning off (scraping with a pick) the battery terminals was the fix to that, plus a tiny crack along the top screen, but even that is good considering it fell out of a moving vehicle going 80km/hr

Apple is selling for years same phone with same software and same hardware only with minor changes more than 1000 $, Samsung did it just once and reviewers can't handle that. There is s8 and s8+ almost half the price, so don't make such a big deal of it

If you're suicidal this phone will disappoint. Try to find someone online who has a Note 7. 😛

I've been a big fan of the Note series since early Note 2. Back then I got completely paperless. Being a clumsy and disorganized computer scientist this is something I really can't live without. I love it when I can have all my work in one place. It also works as a great combo with the Microsoft Surface Pro device that I always carry with me to organize my notes in OneNote (hopefully the new SPen also works with the old surface models because my entire workflow depends on these devices)

I have great hopes for the Note 8. Can't wait to have one.

You could literally do the same sh*t on a galaxy s8, just with a pen and a dual camera! 😆😴

This is a very nice phone but honestly the price is too much for me, I'll pass. But to each is own.

The back of this phone looks outdated af. I normally don't care too much about aesthetics, but I think I'll stay with my note 4 for as long as it will hold out.

If Samsung gets something like iMessage that would be awesome. All I have owned is android devices, primarily Samsung, but something native to the phone would be great instead of using hangouts or something like that. Oh and a FaceTime like feature as well.
