anyone in your room can unlock the device while u r sleeping with finger print or facial scanner. In my experience, Iris scanner is more secure than the finger and facial scanners. I've it on lumia 950 xl

Uhm.. Forgot a few hundred phones I belive. If just basic (non-secure) face recognition is all you demand for beeing on the list you forgot several phones since arpund the Galaxy S3… Only the iris-scanning and apples face-id that is secure enough. And offcourse fingerprint..

I had this feature in my Samsung galaxy s3, back in 2013. I know it was way less secured, but if google, apple and windows already know everything about you, what is the difference?

My old Galaxy Nexus had Face Unlock. Pretty sure every Android since then has had it, too.

My understanding is that Apple couldn't get the fingerprint scanner to work the way they wanted so they went to face scanning, not that it is more secure. I won't be surprised that in a year they figure out how to get it to work, next year's phone will have it. Maybe that is why Apple got rid of the headphone jack. Apple couldn't figure out how to make it work!
